This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are so special and hardworking. They come from a low-income area and need all the help they can get. I get to spend my days with 24 of the most inquisitive 3rd graders you can imagine. Our school is fortunate enough to provide each student their own Chromebook for online learning. Headphones that accompany Chromebooks are necessary to fully access the technological skills that will prepare them for the future.

My Project

The use of new headphones will benefit my students, because the old headphones we currently have are broken and hurt their little ears. It makes learning difficult when students are complaining rather than listening. The cords tangle, short out, and the headphones are ill fitting and uncomfortable. Students are missing valuable information from the online resources provided by the district. With these headphones, I hope that my students will be able to focus their attention on the online learning experiences and have something new to be proud of and responsible for.
