This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I work with a wonderful group of diverse children who love learning and adventure. They have a thirst for knowledge and crave any new avenues of learning. They enjoy being challenged and working towards goals. They have worked hard in the areas of Math and English. They enjoy writing and using their workbooks to do indepedent studies. However, we are limited on the space available for writing folders or workbooks.
My students are in need of storage space for their workbooks/writing folders during the class day.
Over the chair storage helps with classroom management as students do not have to look for items. They are readily available and the kids have easy access. Please help!
My Project
As usual, my quest began when I decided I had a problem that needed solving. My problem involved the storage of student writing folders and workbooks.I wanted to cut down on the time it was taking for students to get their writing folders/workbooks out and to minimize cross traffic in the classroom. Chair pockets are a logical solution to this problem. Over the chair storage slides on the back of a chair to organizeour classroom and holds books, school supplies and more. This will allow easy access for my students and cut down on clutter in my classroom. Please help!!
