This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students live in a low-income community with little to no resources. I am trying to make their classroom a comfortable environment so they cam learn easily.
My students are the best!
I have 25 ELL learners who are hard working and love being at school. Many of my students face struggles at home, including lack of support from parents. I try my best to make sure their classroom is a place they feel safe and motivated to learn.
My Project
I am requesting a computer table. I moved to a different classroom this year, and I have limited furniture, including a table for our classroom computers. The computers we have right now are being balanced between two desks. I want the students to be comfortable when working.
It is so important because many of these students only have school as something stable and secure in their life.
I try my best to make the classroom an inviting and motivating place for my students.
