My Students
Did you know the first step in learning to read is learning the letters and the sounds they make? My students are really having difficulty with learning the letter sounds so I came right to Donors Choose to hopefully get some help with providing materials for them!
I teach Kindergarten at a fabulous school located in NC.
My school is "home away from home" for students in grades PK-3. My Kindergarten students are the best! They are eager, curious, and full of life! They are the reason I am here, to try to get help for my precious students. Every single day is a new adventure for sure, and I thoroughly love my job!
My Project
In this proposal, I am asking for a set of alphabet teaching sound tubs and a beginning sound pack. This is the first experience many of my students have with school and learning about letters and the sounds they make. I am in desperate need to find some materials to help reinforce these skills. I just know if I had these materials, my students would be able to improve their learning. With hands-on materials, they will also have opportunities to review and practice the letters and sounds.
