My students are enthusiastic and eager to learn. They are motivated to gain knowledge and look forward to new challenges. My class is full of energy. They have a love for learning which inspires me. They explore their world through hands-on experiences and work to create learning opportunities that are sparked by my students' interest, questions, and building upon their prior knowledge. I would love to bring more materials into my classroom to enhance my curious learners. In my class, we spend time ensuring that students have the opportunity to teach each other. They have opportunities to share what they find by learning through one another.
My school is a K-8 public school in a low-income community located southeast of Chicago.
The majority of the students receive free lunch and many deal with a lot of challenges in their community.
My Project
My students received headphones for our iPads last year, but they are now all worn and torn due to the quality of the headphones, so I would like to give each student in my classroom more sturdy and heavy duty headphones. These headphones will last longer and will help reduced the noise level in my room so that my students can concentrate on their educational websites. These educational websites will reinforce the skills that are taught in my class. I would like to produce a classroom environment that focuses on each of my students' needs.
The headphones will be a great asset to my classroom.
They will help create a quiet learning environment. My students will be thrilled to receive the headphones so that they can focus on their learning.
