A Canon Laser Printer can only enhance my students' experience in science!
I am a first-grade teacher in a Title l school located in New York City.
One experience I would love to give my children is the ability to capture and print special moments during the year, at home and at school. All in living color! This year my school is emphasizing science and I can just imagine all those wonderful science projects we can print in color. Plus, we are writing and printing our own books this year. Color printing can only enhance the experience.
My Project
We are fortunate to have digital cameras at our school. The problem arises when children actually want to print their photos. The school, which has over 1,000 students attending, ironically does not have any copy machines that will print in color. While our computer printers will print photos, they will only print in black and white and have a very grainy appearance. In addition, I intend to use a website to print guided reading books for my children. These books will belong to my students to take home and share with their families. They look so much better when printed in color.
My students need a Canon Laser color copy machine with toner.
Being able to give my students a chance to make science memory books with color photos would be like opening the door to the 21st century for my students. Hopefully, I will be able to bind their photo journals into books. Also, students can benefit from using a photo printer by being able to produce, in living color, some of their stories. We would be able to add these books to our school library.
