My Project
My students need supplies to help them complete work. I am requesting items that we will use in our notebooks, during class tutorials and to organize binders.
I support math, science, social studies, and ELA classes by teaching students college and career readiness skills that they can apply to those classes.
Each week students create a Tutorial Request Form (TRF) for one of the classes that they need help with. They each identify a specific area where they need help. Recently they have struggled with translations, rotation, and reflections. The magnetic tiles will help us during these tutorials.
Students also carry a binder with a pencil pouch. Many students do not have pencils or pens to keep in their pouch so the requested pens and pencils will help them to be prepared for class. Students also 3-hole punch all of their work and keep it organized in their binder. Sometimes the holes tear, so the reinforcing tabs will be helpful.
