My Students

I work at a fabulous school located in Chesapeake, Va. It is a Title I school that offers students the ability to get ahead of their peers. My students are growing and learning just like I am as a teacher. We are a great team that is focused on what makes learning fun. My students are a gift each year and that's what makes school exciting! Giving the children all that they need is so important to their development. The resources that I'm asking for will further their education and experiences.

My Project

A successful classroom is very busy and needs a lot of everyday materials. The items that I'm asking for are necessary during the day to day demands that a classroom has.

The HamiltonBuhl KIDS-GRN FlexPhones will be used at the computer center with math and literacy websites that my students use daily.

The Educational Insights Light Filter will be used to enhance student learning through soft lighting. Sometimes the lighting is so hard on the eyes, that it gives my students headaches. The Scotch Thermal Laminating Pouches will be used to laminate center activities that I use each year. The Learning Resources Pocket Chart will be used to display center groups. The Paper Mate InkJoy Retractable Gel Pens will be used to check student work. The Expo Dry Erase Markers are used at centers when the students display their work. The Sharpie RETRACTABLE Permanent Markers will be used to check student work and on days when a student earns a "pen day" pass. The Teacher Created Resources 8 pocket Storage Pocket Chart will be used for storage of brag tags. The Ashley, Die-Cut Magnet Scribble Footprints will be taped to the floor to show adequate space between each student when they line up. The Paper Mate InkJoy Retractable Gel Pens will be used to check student work. The Sharpie Permanent Markers will be used to create anchor charts. The Magnetic Labels will be used to organize manipulatives. The Creative Teaching Press What's Your Mindset Banner will be used to display ways to have a growth mindset.
