I work at a fabulous school located in Norfolk, Va. It is a Title I school that offers students the ability to get ahead of their peers. My students are growing and learning just like I am as a teacher. We are a great team that is focused on what makes learning fun. My students are a gift each year and that's what makes school exciting! Giving the children all that they need is so important to their development. The resources that I'm asking for will further their education and experiences.
My Project
Our classroom could definitely benefit by having flexible seating. Students will have the option to sit in not only a chair, but the stools as well. The Norwood commercial furniture plastic stack stools will be used as flexible seating during small groups.
Also, the Con-Tact brand adhesive removable chalk board covering will be used to cover the chalk board.
The students have colors, days of the week, months of the year, calendar math, sight words, and the letter of the week on the contact paper. The Scotch thermal laminating pouches are used to laminate sight words and other work that needs to be preserved throughout the year.
