My Students

Our students are the hardest working scholars in St. Louis. 99% of our scholars are black and 100% of our scholars receive free or reduced lunch. Our scholars are told every day that they are loved and that their lives matter.

Our scholars are held to high academic and character expectations because we want them to have CHOICE in their lives.

Our scholars WILL go to and through college. Our scholars will help to make this world a more equitable place.

My Project

Videos of classroom lessons are dual purpose: 1) they can be uploaded to the internet for students to review when they are out of class and when they need to study a lesson again and 2) they can be reviewed with a teacher in order to determine next steps to improve their teaching. With a video camera and tripod, we will be able to create a library of content videos for our scholars to review at home. We will also be able to create a library of good teaching videos to use during professional development and coaching sessions.

Videos of classroom lessons have become a powerful tool in education.
