My Students
I have a wonderful class of 2nd graders in Oregon! They are sweet, caring and full of life! They love learning and truly enjoy taking in new information. I teach in a high-poverty area, where over 75% of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch. Our students come from a variety of different economic and cultural backgrounds.
My goal this year is to integrate more technology into the classroom.
For many of my students, their only exposure to technology is at school. As their teacher, I want to do everything I can to prepare them for the real world and using technology is a huge part of this.
My Project
I was recently introduced to an Osmo and would love to have some for my students to use in the classroom with our iPads. We have 3 iPads in our classroom and I would love to enhance their use with the Osmo and the different apps it comes with. This year, my classroom will have a large emphasis on integrating technology.
I love that the Osmo allows students to use technology but still have the ability for some hands on creativity, all the while learning!
Technology is so important in our world today so it's important for students to have access to technology in the classroom to help prepare them. I am hopeful that the Osmo Genius Kit will be extremely beneficial to my students!
