My students need an EPSON projector that will bring us into the 20th century, the latest practice of technology, enriching and not limiting the potential of our learning.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Having a projector in the classroom would open a new world to my students. I hope to use the projector to do interactive lessons that would bring learning alive in all aspects of academic learning. Currently we are studying a unit on Mexico. How great would it be to pull up the ruins of Uxmal?
My school is located in South Florida and because of the high population of disadvantaged students, we are designated as a Title One School.
My students are astounding, eager learners that because of budget cuts do not have the advantage of having a classroom equipped with the latest technology that is necessary for children to become world class students. My students come from a varied background, Central American, Mexican, European, and South American. They love their school and always put their best effort forward.
My Project
Having a projector in the room, I will be able to open the doors of learning to my students, by teaching interactive lessons that the Internet provides. This is especially important for visual learners that could benefit by seeing their lessons on a whiteboard. Their are endless activities that can be done with a projector. Currently, I am doing a unit on Mexico, and Mexican mythology. If I had the projector I could bring what we are studying alive and hence more interesting.
We will be very grateful to the people that help us achieve this goal of obtaining a projector for our classroom.
Unfortunately our school budget does not provide for these items which are necessary for children to be interested life learners. Thank you!
