My students need laminators and laminator sheets to preserve memories from their middle school years!

My Students
Can you imagine going into your classroom, as a middle schooler, and seeing posters and signs on the wall with scuff marks and footprints? Unfortunately, some of my students are experiencing this problem. Classroom signs that were once decorated with vibrant colors are now dull. We need help!
Located in Southeast Washington, D.C., my students truly know the meaning of hardship.
Outside of our school campus, their lives are filled with violence and poverty. If they have to experience this outside of school, I feel that it is my responsibility to provide the opposite while they are in school! I want to be able to provide as much as I can to them while they are under my care. I have always noticed how my students take pride in the work that they complete in the classroom. They are especially excited when their work is deemed exemplar and I put it on display for visitors to view. Sometimes, I have noticed that other students in the building defame their work, which doesn't always work out emotionally with my students. But to address all of these needs, from the classroom posters with footprints to the graffiti written on school work, I've come up with an idea! We can protect all of our work with the use of a laminator!
My Project
Having a laminator in the classroom is very beneficial and can be used as a multi-resource. I intend to continue teaching middle school scholars. Sometimes, depending on class dynamics, the projects may or may not change from year to year. Instead of referring to a project without the artifact, I can preserve it with the laminator to show future classes what exemplar work looks like. Additionally, it could be used as a keepsake for students who want to take their work home to show their families. In the classroom, we could laminate signs, helpful tips, and small posters to preserve throughout the school year. If we're lucky, we can use many of the items for the next school year!
As a middle school teacher who tries to instill organization and a tidy appearance with her scholars, I am in need of some assistance!
We're hoping that you will be able to help us preserve our middle school memories!
