My Students
Our students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds with over 60% of our students receiving free or reduced lunch. Our school consists mostly of white students and a growing Hispanic population. Our community has a rich western rodeo heritage and hosts a variety of events and activities including the World’s Oldest Continuous Rodeo.
Our school has over 1,000 students in 7th through 9th grades.
The school offers many programs for students to be involved in including fine arts, sports, FFA, and after school clubs. Our students are hard working and excited about learning.
My Project
Coaching cross-country and track can be difficult at times, especially when I need to get the athletes' attention. During practice the students will be scattered all over the field and I have to be able to get their attention. Using a megaphone greatly reduces the amount of confusion and increases the amount of communication between the coach and athletes.
This requested Champion 800 Year Megaphone is the perfect tool to help my students and athletes understand what it is I need them to do.
Daily practices and weekly meets will run much more smoothly using a megaphone to communicate and give directions with. Events will be better organized and students and parents will be able to understand what is being said.
