Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from different backgrounds, but the diversity of the school helps to build an inclusive community.

The work we do in this classroom is building relationships, staying with the group, following directions, and accessing general education content in different ways.

In our learning community, we teach the whole child and make sure that they receive the necessary support needed to feel safe and receive a high-quality education.

My Project

The materials requested will help all students to complete the assignments and projects that are given to them without the worry of not having the proper supplies available. Students will be able to maintain engagement and put in their best effort.

Second grade students are very creative and enjoy the opportunities to express themselves through drawings and coloring.

They enjoy creating pictures in their assignments and feel a sense of accountability when the assignment requires some type of visual. With these supplies they will be able to keep themselves organized while working on assignments and being as creative as they want to be.
