Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are fifth graders who are full of energy. The students have adapted to the challenges thrown at them this past year and are not only surviving but thriving in this very different environment.

My students come from very diverse backgrounds.

They love reading diverse books, participating in hands on math activities and STEM challenges, and are very curious.

I have a large population of English language learners. They are eager to learn and enjoy every minute of it. They are all amazing kids!

My Project

My students love to read, we are in need of a new bookshelf to be sure books are on display and easily accessible to all of my students.

A new bookshelf would have my students beaming with pride as their books are displayed nicely and easy for them to access.

Books provide my students the opportunity to dream dreams, have adventures and travel the world through the characters in their pages. This project will encourage daily reading and dreaming and cater to their learner variability by providing the students with easy access to their books.
