Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our first-grade classroom, learning is hands-on, collaborative, and joyful—but it can also get messy! From shared materials to small group centers, little hands are always at work. That’s why a clean and sanitary classroom is essential to keeping our students healthy, safe, and focused on learning.

Our school serves a high-poverty community, and resources are stretched thin.

Many families cannot afford to donate cleaning supplies, and our classroom budget simply doesn’t cover these essential items. As the teacher, I do my best to provide what I can, but we go through these products quickly—especially during cold and flu season.

With your support, I’m requesting a set of basic, but vital, cleaning products for our classroom, including:

Clorox disinfecting wipes

Paper towels

Surface cleaners and sprays

These supplies will help us:

Sanitize desks, doorknobs, and shared materials throughout the day

Clean up after snack, art, and hands-on activities

Promote good hygiene and reduce the spread of germs

Keep students in school and ready to learn

Cleanliness and health go hand in hand. When students are absent due to illness, they miss valuable learning time. Providing a clean environment helps keep our classroom running smoothly and ensures every child has the best chance to succeed.
