My students are an extremely diverse group of learners who show their talents in many different ways.
Not all of my students are able to show their talents with a paper and pencil, but having printing capabilities in the classroom opens the door for students' output to be as diverse as they are.
My Project
With a wireless printer, my students will be able to print their work from classroom and individual technologies. Students with graphomotor and communication challenges will have alternate means to express their knowledge. Common Core standards encourage all students to use technology to publish their writing and now we will be able to do just that!
Our current printing capabilities require students to walk across campus to retrieve their print job and they need adult assistance, which is not always available.
Now, they can print their work independently and have immediate access to the materials!
