Research shows that COLOR plays a very important part in a child's behavior, comprehension, and their success in the classroom. My students are from low-income households, which makes it difficult for them to experience the real world around them.
A color printer would provide my students with the opportunity to learn about real-world topics in color.
Teachers currently have limited access to the color printer in my school's computer lab. It can take several days to receive color copies for my classroom. Having a color printer in my classroom would help in the following ways:
*Viewing clear photographs and illustrations of real-world topics
*Assist students with understanding vocabulary through vibrant visual aids
*Access to printing their own finished computer projects in color
*Help students interpret and understand charts and graphs
*Motivate students with colorful, engaging center activity sheets
*Improve attention span and an enhanced learning experience
*Make printed information easier to restore and recall
*On-demand, unlimited access to color printing
Furthermore, my classroom has an old schoolhouse charm to it, but this makes it challenging to create a "Pinterest-worthy" room. Printing classroom decor in color would bring my classroom to life. I am certain that your donation will make a huge impact on my classroom and my students' real-world learning experiences.
