My Project

Last year, thanks to generous donors, we received a TV screen that transformed our learning environment. Students can now easily follow along during guided lessons, view educational videos, and share their own projects from their devices. It's made learning more interactive, accessible, and exciting for everyone in the room.

What I love most about my students is their curiosity, creativity, and how eager they are to learn when given the right tools: They thrive when they can clearly see, hear, and interact with what we’re doing together—and that’s exactly what having a TV screen in our classroom can help us do.

To build on that progress, we are hoping to add a second screen to our classroom. Just like having another whiteboard helps reach more students, an additional screen would ensure that no matter where a student sits, they can fully engage with our lessons and class activities.

Here are just a few ways a second screen will support student learning:

Display student-created work while continuing with whole-class instruction

Run real-time translations or closed captions for accessibility

Show a timer or visual schedule to help with focus and transitions

Host interactive review games while keeping lesson content visible

Stream live experiments or demonstrations from another part of the room

Provide side-by-side visuals for comparing texts, graphs, or maps

Support small group work or student presentations with shared visuals
