My Project
Students have really gotten into take care of others and learning how to stay healthy and keep ourselves safe. Recognizing our students' eagerness to learn how to help others, I have been working with the school nurse to teach students ways to keep themselves safe and healthy. We are teaching our students vital skills, including CPR. I have been teaching 8th grade students introductory lessons to CPR with the help our school nurse.
The recent introductory lesson on the importance and benefits of non-breathing CPR sparked a real interest among the students, who are now eager for more hands-on practice.
To facilitate this crucial training for students and to further empower our students in helping the wider community, I am seeking additional CPR training materials and manikins beyond our current single CPR box.
These resources will provide the necessary hands-on experience to truly learn and confidently perform CPR.
