My Students

The world is a big place, filled with wonder and excitement. Yet, I teach at a school where many students have never left our wonderful state. Travel, success, and exploration are foreign words to them.

They come from diverse backgrounds and many are second generation citizens to this nation.

The classroom becomes their doorway to the future and their doorway to adventure. Help me make it the best adventure ever.

My Project

We are a new online Virtual School. Students who need the flexibility in their learning in a different environment, pace, or because of health. However, just because you are learning digitally does not mean you are not getting a quality education.

Connecting with the World if vital to growing and learning.

I find that when my students read a book they are more willing to make connections with the characters. Feel what they feel and pull on their own knowledge and story. This opens the dialog for more real-world conversations. Help me to allow my students that growth.
