My Students

Our students are experiencing a big change this year! Our former 3rd-5th grade school has been split and now 4th-5th grades are have moved to a new (very old) campus. Our new campus was formerly a high school and then a middle school and now needs lots of TLC to become the loving, engaging elementary school to our 320 students. 60% of our population is low income. Our area was hit hard by COVID-19 so we missed the last quarter of our last school year. Our students are now back safely on campus thanks to our new COVID-19 protocols. One of which is quarantining books after each check out. Please help us buy some new books so we have more titles available while others are waiting in quarantine.

My Project

Our area has been greatly impacted by COVID-19, which means our books have to spend time in quarantine after each check out. Please help us buy more books so my students have more options to read while so many of our titles have to sit idle.

The books chosen for my project are titles specifically requested by my students.

They love a good series! Many of the series on our shelves only include the first and second volumes because we're a new school trying to build up our collection. The kids will be overjoyed to be able to finish reading an entire series!
