I teach upper grade science (Physics) at a 60% low income public High school in southern California
Teaching students to write out lab assignments is an important skill I teach my Physics students to prepare them for college. I require that my students include figures of their lab set-ups for their lab reports, which is normally difficult for many of my students.
I am requesting 1 digital camera for my students to use. Students would be able to capture their lab set-ups directly instead of searching thru Google to find an image that closely resembles their lab set-up. Additionally, the camera will also allow me to capture students during lab experiences. These experiences will be placed on my website for parents to view the exciting nature of my students classroom experience.
You will make it possible for my students to capture lab set-up's digitally. This will further to develop the learning environment by allowing students to use technology in smart and exciting ways. You have to potential to really make a difference to my students
