My students need cases to help protect our Kindle Fires that we use for Science and Math Centers!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Norris's classroom raised $283

My Students
My 5th-grade students are from a rural county in South Carolina. 85% of my students are on a free or reduced priced lunch. My school only houses 5th and 6th graders. We have about 700 students total. Some of my students have never traveled beyond the county lines.
Many of my students don't have the opportunity to work with technology outside of the classroom.
They enjoy every chance they get to work with technology. Technology is becoming such an important part of our society and it is important for the students to learn how to use different types of technology.
My Project
In my classroom, I have a class set of Kindles for my students to use in math and science centers. When I got the kindles, I did not get cases for them. My students use these Kindles almost daily and they need to be protected!
Our Kindles need some protection!
I want to get the cases to ensure that the kindles will last for a very long time. My students are careful with them, but accidents do happen!
I am hoping by adding the cases to the Kindles, they will be able to be used in my classroom for many years to come!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
