My students are all working very diligently together to make the world a better place! Our school runs a yearly community service fundraiser, called "suspend the principal" where we tape the principal to the wall to raise money for charity.
This year our focus is to promote Global Literacy!
We are collecting donations of books to give to the less fortunate/ those that do not have books. We are focusing on the importance of global literacy by sending books to the Philippines to schools that do not have any books.
We require these simple items (ink and stock stock) to make posters, letters, certificates etc that we need to make our project run smoothly!
My students have been researching the importance of literacy and what place reading has in our lives. They're very excited to promote this to others and pay it forward.
