it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Do you think reading a textbook written in the 1980s is an inspiring way to learn history? Neither do my students! We want to make full use of modern technology and media to create a more interesting, motivating, and challenging learning environment in our classroom.
My students are from East Harlem and the Bronx.
We are a public school and budget cuts have made it impossible to purchase equipment for classes this year. The students really need access to current technology in order to get ready for college and to pass their New York State Regents exams.
My Project
For this project, we are requesting your support to purchase a multimedia projector for our classroom. In the near future, we are going to add other components to it so that we can create a full multimedia learning experience. Students will be able to view and also create highly interesting and motivating presentations that will enhance their learning!
Most students are visual learners and motivated by new technology.
In addition, this is a crucial skill set for college success and the workplace. Please "project your love" for history and learning by helping us purchase this device!
