Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students all have speech and language disorders. Many are also English language learners. They require a great deal of visual support and multi-sensory learning opportunities to learn new vocabulary and concepts. We would love to have a color printer to enable us to print out colorful visuals and materials! Students are more engaged and attentive when materials and visuals are presented in color. Examples of colorful materials that we would print are picture symbols and communication boards for Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC), graphic organizers, task cards, adapted books, etc. Once we print these materials in color, we can laminate them for repeated use!
