Help us preserve our hard work! We need a classroom laminator to help keep our work nice, such as class books that we make throughout the year. A laminator would help us enjoy these books longer instead of getting ripped and torn apart so easily!
My students are fun, energetic, and hard working second graders!
They attend an elementary school in a somewhat rural area of Ohio. Our school is considered medium poverty with many students receiving free or reduced lunches. Even though our school and school district are going through some tough financial times, we have still managed to achieve the title of being an "Excellent" school from our OAA test results! This shows the hard working attitude of our students!
My Project
Having a laminator in our classroom will help preserve my students' hard work throughout the year. Creating class books helps them develop a sense of pride for their work because they know that others are going to be reading their writing. Our class books are so well loved that, unfortunately, they receive a lot of wear and tear and eventually fall apart. Since our district is going through some tough financial times, we aren't able to laminate many items because of the cost. This project would help to keep all of the students' writing on display for the entire year!
This project will impact my students because it will motivate them to do their best work, knowing that it will be preserved for a long time in our classroom!
They love to read stories written by their classmates.
