My Project

"Can we have more reading time?" "Can I take this book home to finish?" "Do you have a book about...?" Our students LOVE to read! 3rd grade is such an essential year for reading, and we need decodable texts to help us practice all the important skills we are learning and keep our reading excitement going strong!

A love of reading starts now with great books and feeling confident to practice the skills you have learned!

Students will use these texts during reading time every day. I will use the Reading Strategies and Writing Strategies books to plan and teach small groups in reading and writing so that students keep learning and working on their next step.

My goal is to ensure that every student feels successful and excited about reading this year. It is really important for all students to have texts that support exactly what they are learning in small groups. Your support will help give these decodable texts to students that need them.
