Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a classroom full of 26 third graders, with half of them considered emergent bilinguals. In third grade, students use many different materials for math, reading, writing, and science. In our classroom, students use trapezoid shape desks (which do not include storage for learning materials.)
I am asking for a donation of 26 chair organizers so that my students can keep all of their learning materials neat and organized as well as TeachersPayTeachers gift cards.
These chair organizers will help my students learn organizational skills and help reinforce the importance of being organized when learning.
I am also asking for gift cards to TeachersPayTeachers.com so that my students can benefit from printable decodable readers to take home each night for at-home reading. These decobale readers are great because they focus on different skills and I can meet students where they are in their learning achievement!
