Help me give my students the technology necessary for their learning. These items will help me keep my students attention while learning as they will be able to see the learning steps during guided instruction.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach primary students from grades K-3. I have a group of diverse students with various learning needs. We are diverse learners celebrating learning in many different ways. My students are excited about learning and the learning process.
Learning in my classroom is extremely differentiated for each individual student's needs.
They learn in many different ways and technology is needed to help support them in their learning. My students need visuals, supports, individual instruction and a curriculum that they can maneuver and learn the rules of reading, writing, and mathematics.
My Project
The students in my classroom all have diverse learning needs. One of the things they have in common is they prefer learning in different ways. I need other teaching tools beyond paper and pencil to reach them during instruction.
My students learn best when using technology and hands-on learning.
The items I am requesting will allow me to provide lessons via screen through the use of an ipad. This would allow me to write on a virtual board and still keep their attention. This will also allow us to keep the learning we created and the ability to pull it back up so the students can have more time with the material or revisit the material for extra reinforcement.
