Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am in extreme need of oil pastels and permanent markers. We use both throughout the entire year to create works of art.
My students LOVE to express themselves through art.
In a small rural district such as the one I not only teach in but also live there is very little to no budget for art but I have been incredibly blessed by administrators and a Superintendent who supports art as much as possible, alas tight budgets both within the district as well as in my students' families keep me from getting some basic supplies.
Please help me as I strive to help my student's families provide a strong art education program.
We do projects such as color theory which we use oil pastels for. I also do certain projects such as Zentangle and Neurogrphic art which we use permanent markers.
