My Students
My students attend a Title I school in Pennsylvania, and all receive free or reduced-price lunch and breakfast. They attend a typical, inner-city school. Most face serious obstacles before they even walk through the doors in the morning. Our goal is to make our school a safe and loving environment.
Our students come from diverse backgrounds and different countries.
This makes our school pretty special in so many ways. The students all work so hard and are very deserving of this project.
My Project
In our classroom we love to do centers. We need items like stools for our flexible seating groups. This way we do not have to sit at our desks all day. We can work in small groups. We would also love a cozy carpet to put in our reading nook with bookshelves to hold all our books. This would be an area where we can read or go on our computers and do our online assignments. WE spend so much time at our desks that it would be nice to have little areas set up throughout our room to use.
