Help Us Make Learning Colorful With A Color Printer!

Help me give my students a color printer to print master artwork and reference photos!

My Project

A color printer will benefit all students in my art room by helping me to differentiate learning for my students. A majority of my students are ENL students. For each art project, I create visual ideas sheet for my students to reference as they are working. These ideas sheets help all of my students to create and visualize their ideas for their project. I have also found that visual checklists that outline criteria for each project has help my students understand my expectations for each project and helps monitor their progress for each project. I have discovered that my elementary students are more successful when they have visuals to reference because it helps them to process, retain and breakdown information much easier. A color printer with additional ink will help me continue to create these visual idea sheets and checklist for my students.

Having colored visuals and masterworks for students to reference is important in the elementary art room.

A color printer would also help me to teach art history and art appreciation more effectively. With a color printer, I can print examples of master artwork that we are studying. My students can use these examples to closely analyze and discuss works of art at their table both individually and in groups.
