Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school has a limited budget. As a coach I know that our families have many expenses and asking them to purchase a team sweater or shirt for their children can be difficult. I have been making the shirts and sweater for our teams for several years. I ask the students to bring in a t-shirt and I try to make the best design using materials that do not last long (vinyl).
A DTF printer with an oven and heat press will allow me to create more shirts and sweaters for the students in all our clubs and teams.
In the past, we were the group of students that did not look like a team as we were not uniform. Your donation of the transfer film will ensure that our teams (such as our Debate and Robotics teams).
I am proud of students as they balance their lives with AP classes, sports, clubs, volunteer work, college classes and more every day. Providing them with an article of clothing that highlights their efforts will be one more motivator for them. This donation will have a profound impact on our students as they graduate and are able to have something that helps them remember what our small yet mighty school provided them.
