My Project
Learning the letter sounds by having tangible objects which represent each sound. The students will be able to sort objects by their first sound. Along with phonological awareness we will use the objects to build vocabulary. We will use the objects during sharing time. The students will describe their chosen object and what settings they have noticed similar objects. Our students come from diverse backgrounds and make up a strong community of learners. They have shown a love of reading and are motivated to learn to decode words. We look forward to their growth.
