My Students

As a teacher at a Title I school, I know that my students are mostly from low-income homes. My students are very happy and eager to learn. They come from many different backgrounds and communities. Although they are all different, we are a family in our classroom.

My students are math-loving, hard workers, and enthusiastic learners.

School is so important to my students and gives them a steady environment. In our class, we incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met.

My Project

This project will allow my 4th graders to learn important lifelong lessons by setting up a classroom economy. Students earn "class cash" for good behavior, being on task, attendance, and more. They can in turn use their cash for prizes.

Students will be able to choose from prizes such as, punch balloons, stickers, sticky hands, and more.

My class is learning virtually this year and I have chosen small items that can be mailed. They have virtual cash they can trade for prizes which will be mailed to their homes.
