My Students

My students are English Language Learners who attend a suburban elementary school in Washington. They come from various cultural, linguistic, and economic backgrounds, many of them receive free or reduced-price lunch, and many parents struggle to provide basic necessities for their kids.

My students might speak different languages at home, but share a love of learning at school.

They want to be successful and strive to do their best. My mission is to help them achieve their goals with the resources and support they need.

My Project

My students need color and black ink cartridges to make interactive charts, games, and visual support to effectively acquire new language. I would be able to provide much needed visual support in color of realia pictures to promote vocabulary acquisition.

Having these resources will help me create friendly and visually rich learning environment to ease students anxiety and reduce stress level.

Labeling items in the classrooms and organizing materials by colors would be very beneficial for newcomers to help them better navigate the world around them. These resources will actively support my students mental and emotional well being by providing colorful and happy environment!
