My Project
My classroom consist of many Asian and Pacific Islander students. Chinese is a big ethnicity in our classroom. We would love materials to help celebrate the Lunar New year this February.
We are lucky to live in Hawaii, with that we are a melting pot of ethnicities, help me get materials for my students to learn more about this upcoming Lunar New Year - the year of the dragon!
We will be reading and learning more about the Lunar New Year, showcasing the dragon and red lanterns for happiness in the upcoming year, and experiencing the red envelopes with Chinese coins.
