Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am an elementary school kindergarten teacher in a Title 1 school in Manhattan. This is my 13th year teaching in my school. My second graders are so wonderful and full of personality. My second graders are loving, curious, and eager learners. Although kids are fun and love to come to school and learn, this also means lots of germs. My classroom is in desperate need of basic cleaning supplies to help us stay healthy. It is important to stay healthy and with these materials, I can help prevent my students from getting sick and missing valuable learning time.
