it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This is my 14th year as a kindergarten teacher at my school.
I teach 24 kindergarten students in an ICT education classroom at a low-income school in New York City.
They are a great group of kids who are extremely inquisitive and want to learn more. They try hard on a daily basis and want to do well educationally, emotionally, and behaviorally. They celebrate their successes and know when they need extra support to help meet their needs.
Kindergarteners are fun, inquisitive, and so excited to come to school and learn. They are also still new to the school and come with lots of germs. This is the year that will shape a child's attitude about school and about learning. Making it the most positive and nurturing experience is a way to ensure that these children will continue to love learning and strive to do their best in school. I have requested multiple containers of Clorox wipes to help keep the germs away, clean up messes and help my students stay healthy throughout the school year.
