Help me give my students protective cases for their brand new iPads and help us get ink to use for our own printer in our classroom to be able to print in color for our students!
I work in an ICT pre-K classroom in Staten Island, NY. We have a mixture of Special Education students in our classroom as well as General Education students. Many of my students have fallen behind due to COVID and have been learning remotely on and off for the last year. They are so eager to learn but some of them are only in school two days a week due to blended learning.
Due to COVID-19, our students need as much support as possible with their social emotional needs.
We will make it our mission to provide our students with social emotional applications to use on the iPads for Center Time.
My Project
Our previous project was fully funded and we are SO thankful for it! We unfortunately forgot to put cases in our previous project and we are hoping to get this project funded for our class to keep their iPads safe from any damage. We are so fortunate enough to be able to be in school full time during COVID. My students are in Pre-K and in order to use the iPads we would like to get some cases that will protect the iPads for years to come for more students to use. When we host fun class things via Zoom with parents we do not have anything to play the music from since we only have one laptop. By getting a bluetooth speaker we will be able to play music from an iPad or phone to make the Zoom events more entertaining. We have our own classroom printer but unfortunately the ink we have ordered through our school was canceled. Without this ink we will not be able to print in color since the school only provides a black and white printer and our previous order for ink was canceled. Getting this ink we will be able to use this in our classroom to print fun and engaging worksheets for our students.
