I teach AP World, Academic Decathlon, Academic Pentathlon (8th grade team) 7th, and 10th grade World History. Many students are struggling emotionally and socially with coming back to school and learning the new normal. Most of our students are also on free and/or reduced-price lunches.
With this in mind, I want to support my students with basic classroom supplies so that they and their families need never worry if the child is prepared for class.
My students need essential supplies to better access classroom resources such as a mechanical sweeper, plastic tablecloths (to be replaced often), masks, and lazy susan organizers for supplies. There are up to 150 students who come and go in my room each day, so a mechanical sweeper that can stay on top of the dirt that comes in would be helpful.
The gift of these supplies will have a huge impact on my students' ability to do complete their assignments easily by accessing supplies. My students need to feel that they have all the supplies they need without having to worry about buying them all. Thank you for helping them!
