My Project

I am a veteran 7th and 10th grade World History teacher, but also Academic Decathlon & Academic Pentathlon coach. Many students are struggling emotionally and socially with coming back to school and learning the new normal. Most of our students are also on free and/or reduced-price lunches. I want to do my best to show students how much their work means to me as a teacher and as their coach.

I want to support my students by giving them the essential supplies this year and encourage them to always try their best.

My students and I need essential supplies to get ready for their upcoming AP Exams and Academic Decathlon/Pentathlon competitions. The gift of these supplies will have a huge impact on my students' ability and motivation to be as competitive in their competitions. I want to ensure that they have everything they need.

Thank you in advance for your help with this project. Keeping the classroom clean is always difficult, but more masks and disinfecting wipes will help. We also need plastic organizing folders to help students keep their classwork organized. The industrial 3-hold puncher will be used to help my academic teams put their large readings (sometimes over 150 pages each). The posters, bulletin board, and laminator will be used to continue to organize and beautify our classroom. My students should feel that they have all the support they need. Thank you for helping them!
