Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are all diagnosed with speech and language impairment or learning disabilities. In addition, many of our students are English Language Learners. Our students are loving, hard working, and eager to learn! Some of our students are minimally intelligible due to speech sound disorders. Your donation will provide visual cards depicting minimal pairs to show the contrast between 2 words with one sound difference (ie. "snow" vs "no"). This will provide necessary visuals to work on differentiation of sounds and to enable students to practice the correct production of sounds. The visuals depicted on these cards are colorful, functional, up to date, and motivating! Your kindness and generosity is greatly appreciated.
