My Students

Intelligent, creative, independent, studious, and a little whacky. These are words I would use to describe our 7th & 8th-grade students at our middle school.

Our students walk into the classroom every single day with a desire and passion to investigate, collaborate, and discover all they can before the final bell rings.

They are an inspiring bunch who are not afraid to ask questions and take risks. Mature beyond their years, they recognize the importance of every educational opportunity set before them and always strive to do their best at every turn. It's for these reasons that they deserve every chance to succeed.

My Project

As teachers, we're always seeking to provide our students with the best learning opportunities.

Our students are lucky enough to have access to personal computers that greatly enhance their learning. Computers give our students the ability to work at their own pace, discover a treasure trove of new resources, and demonstrate their understanding in a variety of ways. However, our capacity to fully utilize our computers is severely limited by our lack of headphones.

Headphones will help us increase student independence and open up a new world of videos and audio that were previously off-limits.
