My Students
Technology has come so far since the days of record players and 45s. Please help us modernize our classroom with bluetooth speakers for our iPod and SMART Board!
My students are in transitional kindergarten.
This is a new grade level for our state, and is completed before entry into kindergarten. We have an inclusive class, which consists of students that are learning English for the first time, students that have learning disabilities and require special services, and typical learning students. Our school is a high poverty, Title I school, with a large percentage of students that qualify for the free or reduced-price lunch program. The children are dreamers, problem solvers, and love to work together in social situations.
My Project
I am requesting bluetooth speakers and a iPad protective case for our classroom. We will use the bluetooth speakers to project sound from the class SMART Board and music from our iPod. Our current iPod speaker has served us well the last 5 years, but was recently broken. Our current SMART Board speakers are very close to the neighboring classroom wall, which is disturbing for those students. Bluetooth speakers can be placed away from the wall, which will benefit my students and make it more peaceful for the neighboring class. The speakers will benefit my students by allowing them to hear the music, videos, software and lessons I can offer them through the iPod and Smartboard.
Additionally, we are in need of an iPad cover for our new iPad, which was recently granted to us by the generous donors here at DonorsChoose!
