Help me give my students access to art materials to make their year in art class one to remember. Paint, paper, erasers, and other needed items are needed to aid us in our quest to become world-class artists.

My Students

As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, my main goal is to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.

My students are creative, clever and very spontaneous.

They like to move, they love to make art and love lots of positive attention. From the minute they walk in the door of my classroom, I focus on their potential and growth while they are with me. I may not be able to control their home lives, however, I can certainly control their experience during the school day. By doing this in a creative and positive way, I am hoping to inspire even our earliest learners to continue on a path of academic excellence.

My students are me 20 years ago. They are growing and learning in the same small, tight-knit school community that inspired me to be a teacher. They are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners. I want to be the best for them!

My Project

Having access to basic art materials is something we need help with each year. Working in a low-income area with little funding, your help is essential in providing that access. Having materials available for my students to help them in their artistic creations is very important to me.

Without your help, my students will not have the art materials they deserve.

Seeing the smiles in their faces when they create something is what I live for. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to us. With your donations, we will have a great year in art class. We thank you!
