Help us have a Science Fair

My students need beakers for experiments and solutions. My students are entering their first science fair. They need boards to display their projects.

My Students

My class is amazing, however, there is a shortage for a lot of things. My students are going to participate in their first science fair, and they feel limited by the things they can do. I am looking to get them exposed to as many science projects and materials as possible so that the lessons stick.

I have students that range from performing on the second-grade level to the 6th-grade level, yet they are all in the 8th grade.

For the most part, they enjoy science even if the content is hard. One of my most struggling student said to me, "Ms. S.P. science is lit" that is slang for science is great. He said this after we completed a dissection on a star fish. I want to keep that momentum going and perform experiments that they want to run home and share with their families.

My Project

My students will be using the different materials to perform experiments based on the topics we studied to present at the science fair. They will be able to see the effects of caffeine on heart rate. My students sometimes make poor choices when it comes to their diet, they will be able to see that effect.

This will change my students' lives because they will have the supplies.

They will be able to study things that they have an interest in. They will be able produce work that they will be proud of.
